Shingo Takemoto
(born February 4, 1975) is a Japanese adult video (AV) director and actor who was instrumental in the foundation of two adult video studios.
==Life and career==
Takemoto made his debut as an adult video (AV) director in 1998 for V&R Planning with ''Nichikan uwasa no bikini gyaru in ōsutoraria'', released on June 24, 1998. In September 2003, Takemoto worked as an actor in the bisexual themed video for V&R Planning's Pandore label about the relationship between three men and a woman. By May 2004, Takemoto was production manager at V&R Planning. While at V&R Planning, Takemoto directed a number of videos which were released uncensored (without the mosaic blurring of the genitals found in all Japanese AVs) in the United States by the Oriental Dream company. In August 2004, Takemoto along with fellow V&R Planning directors Uzumaki Sasaki, Temple Suwa and Taro Kanbe, founded a new studio, V&R Products, as a subsidiary of V&R Planning. The group wanted more freedom of expression and the chance to pursue a less extreme course than the usual V&R Planning genres. Takemoto became the president of the new company which distributed its products through the porn conglomerate Soft On Demand. Between 2004 and 2007, Takemoto directed 39 videos at V&R Products.
In 2007 when the V&R Products subsidiary asked for full independence, parent company V&R Planning refused and removed Takemoto and the others from their positions. Under Takemoto's lead, they went on to found a new AV company called Rocket which was established in October 2007 with Takemoto as company director. The new company released its first set of five videos on January 17, 2008, one of which was Takemoto's ''Yuka Osawa Having Nakadashi Sex in Her Room''.
